Who are we?
We at Many Whiskers Animal Rescue are a small animal rescue. We take in animals in the London, Berkshire, and Surrey area and find them forever homes. Every animal is given a spacious set-up, a varied and proper diet, enrichment, and, when needed, medical care.
We believe that every animal should lead as close to a natural life as possible, and when animals are adopted out, we ensure new owners provide ample living space and plenty of enrichment. We only take in a small number of animals to make sure we run to high welfare standards. We aim to promote the health and wellbeing of these animals.
At Many Whiskers Animal Rescue, our goal is to improve the wellbeing of every animal we take in. We also want to spread accurate information on how to care for small animals and what to do in cases of emergency. And of course, we want to take in any small animals that need a home.
Foster or surrender:
Our policies
- Male mice are neutered before they are adopted out.
- Social animals (guinea pigs, rats, gerbils, and mice) are bonded with their species at our shelter or adopted out to new homes to be bonded.
- Home checks are carried out and our minimum standards are met.
- We do not euthanise healthy animals.
- We are against the breeding and selling of rodents.
- We take in any animal that we have adopted out if circumstances occur.
